Work Experience:
I have taught at BCR-IV for 14 years. I teach beginning band at Rushville Elementary and band, high school choir, high school music appreciation and middle school general music classes at DeKalb Middle-High School. I taught in the Savannah and Fulton school districts before coming to DeKalb.
Biography:
My husband, Brett, and I have two kids, Brittany (14) and Xander (9). Brittany is in band as well and loves musicals, especially Wicked and Grease. Xander is our baseball player and we love to watch him continue to grow as a player.
Outside of school, I am the Group Exercise Coordinator for the Y in St. Joseph. I have taught classes at the Y for 12 years. I am Les Mills Body Pump and POUND certified. I like to run and have run numerous 5ks and half marathons.
