OPEN HOUSE

Rushville Elementary School and DeKalb Middle/High School will hold an open house on Monday, August 14, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.  During open house student class assignments will be posted.  As well, students may bring their school supplies.


REGISTRATION DEKALB MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL

Registration for all students in grades 7-12 will take place on August 7-11.  Students will receive their schedules at this time.  Student enrollment schedule is:

Seniors ............. Monday, August 7 .................. 9:00-12:00

Juniors ............. Monday, August 7 ................... 1:00-3:00

Sophomores .. Tuesday, August 8 .................. 9:00-12:00

Freshman ......... Tuesday, August 8 .................. 1:00-3:00

8th Grade ......... Wednesday, August 9 ........... 9:00-12:00

7th Grade .......... Wednesday, August 9 ........... 1:00-3:00

New/Missed ..... Wednesday, August 10-11 ... 9:00-3:00

Any student new to the district will need his/her birth certificate, proof of residency, immunization record, and a transcript from his/her previous school.

All Middle/High School students will be required to make a $25 Technology Fee Deposit.

All new Middle/High School students and seventh grade students will be required to make $20 Text Book Deposit.

SCHOOL CLOSING INFORMATION

We will also be using an electronic notification system (Apptegy Alerts) to notify parent(s)/guardian(s) of emergency information or school closings.  When your child(ren) enrolls he/she will be given a form to complete containing a request for email addresses and phone numbers and texting numbers for emergency notification.  Please provide this information at enrollment and notify us anytime throughout the school year should your contact information change as it is very important that the information reach everyone as quickly as possible!  When there is an emergency situation or school is closed for some reason you will receive a call, text message and/or email to your phone numbers and email addressess with the information.

When school is dismissed early for inclement weather, such as heat, ice, snow, etc. the following radio and television stations will also be notified and asked to annouce the information.
