Dear Parents & Guardians,
On Monday, August 21 a total solar eclipse will move through the central part of the United States including a direct path over Northwest Missouri.
The Buchanan County R-IV School District plans to commemorate this historical event as part of an educational experience for our students. Activities will be in place the day of the eclipse and sun filtering glasses have been purchased to allow the students to view the eclipse from approximately 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
