SAE Spotlight - Hunter Servaes and Lance Kelley have both been working at Simpson Sawmill this summer for their SAE. Their roles vary each day, but this day they were separating and stacking boards after they had been cut from logs.





Rolling Hills Book Mobile will be at Rushville Elementary from 10-11 on Wednesday June 16.

SAE Spotlight - Rebbie and Rachel Reagan both help out on the farm and feed the bottle calves each day as part of their SAE. Rebbie will be an officer and senior next year in FFA and Rachel will be entering her 2nd year in the program.




SAE Spotlight - Kalyn Hartman will be a sophomore next year and for her SAE received a bottle calf in February. Kalyn fed and cared for the calf until it was ready to go back to the pasture earlier this summer.

SAE Spotlight - Carli Browning and Natalyn Killoren are working in the school garden this summer as one of their SAE's. They spent the morning tilling, weeding, mulching and getting the tomato cages set up. They will have fresh vegetables for sale later this summer!





SAE Spotlight - Lance Kelley raises chickens, ducks and geese at his house for his SAE. Lance is very knowledgeable and helpful with the school chickens as well. Lance will be entering his 2nd year in FFA this fall.





SAE Spotlight - Harlie Hall is entering her 2nd year in FFA and Drake Miller entering his 4th year. Both are involved in the family livestock showing tradition as they each show hogs at various local fairs and the state fair each year.




SAE Spotlight - Zander Matson will be a junior next year. His SAE consists of feeding a bottle calf each day. He also helps his grandpa on the farm. SAE's are Supervised Agricultural Experiences that allow students a "hands-on" project as part of the FFA program.

The Lady Tigers came away with some All-State finishes this weekend at the Class 1 State track meet!
Girls 4x8 relay finished with 4th place (Kalyn Hartman, Harlie Hall, Macy Dittemore, & Gracie Hanshaw) and Carissa Martin & Lainie Vogan took 5th & 6th place in the triple jump. Congrats, ladies!




Miss Wilson’s class planned great vacations!





Miss Miller’s second grade class used shaving cream creatively during art class. They earned the privilege because their class met their weekly goals more than any other class in both art and computers. Congrats!
