
SAE Spotlight - Olivia Fisher's SAE involves taking care of the chickens that were incubated in the Ag classroom this past spring. She enjoys keeping the chicks healthy and growing throughout the summer. Olivia also works at McAlister's Deli for another SAE.

SAE Spotlight - Brayton Furr has been busy mowing for G&C Lawncare for his SAE. He has mowed the last two summers and has gained a lot of first hand experience which he hopes to use in the future. Brayton also grows and sells sweet corn as another part of his SAE!

FFA is always proud to team up with MFA to help serve their annual customer appreciation lunch. Officers helped with this event to start off their year of service as FFA officers.




SAE Spotlight - Brody Knorr is involved in Wildlife Management for his SAE. He cleared land and planted two food plots this spring and regularly checks his cameras and feeders for deer. Brody will also be serving as our FFA chapter Sentinel this upcoming year.





Sports physicals are also given at Urgent Care Express for $15. Walk in (no appointment)

Reminder: football camp next week Monday (26th) - Thursday (29th), 5-8pm. For both high school and jr. high. Coaches will be in during the day on Monday for equipment check out. Please come early to get your equipment if you haven't gotten it already.

SAE Spotlight - Zander Chatman will be entering his 2nd year in the Ag program this fall. For his SAE Zander has been working this summer in his garden planting and maintaining sweet corn, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers and okra.

SAE Spotlight - Chris Weinmann started working this summer mowing and weedeating lawns with his Dad. He has learned how to operate all the mowers and to work quickly and efficiently!





Natalyn and Carli have peppers, zucchini, green beans and okra to sell from the school garden. Located under the awning of the Ag bldg. We will keep the sign updated throughout the summer as to what we have available. Thank you!



SAE Spotlight - Hunter Servaes and Lance Kelley have both been working at Simpson Sawmill this summer for their SAE. Their roles vary each day, but this day they were separating and stacking boards after they had been cut from logs.





Rolling Hills Book Mobile will be at Rushville Elementary from 10-11 on Wednesday June 16.

No summer weights for Jr High and High school athletes - Monday June 14th!!!

SAE Spotlight - Rebbie and Rachel Reagan both help out on the farm and feed the bottle calves each day as part of their SAE. Rebbie will be an officer and senior next year in FFA and Rachel will be entering her 2nd year in the program.




SAE Spotlight - Kalyn Hartman will be a sophomore next year and for her SAE received a bottle calf in February. Kalyn fed and cared for the calf until it was ready to go back to the pasture earlier this summer.
