The third and final FFA team competing at districts was the Floriculture team consisting of Macy Dittemore, Ashtyn Griffin and Rebbie Reagan. High scorer was Macy Dittemore placing 9th individually.
The FFA Meats Team consisting of Rebekah Gunter, Natalyn Killoren and Carli Browning also placed 4th and qualified for the state contest. High scorer was Rebekah Gunter placing 8th individually.
FFA wrapped up its district competition this week. The FFA Knowledge team consisting of Kayln Hartman, Rachel Reagan and Harlie Hall placed 4th out of 32 teams and qualified for state. High scorer was Kalyn who placed 3rd individually.
The band was very excited to wear our new uniforms for contest yesterday!

3rd through 6th grade classes recently participated in the FBI Safe Surf online course. Next, students were required to take an online test. 7 students answered 29/30 questions correctly. We ranked 6th out of all the schools participating across the US for the month of February.

Middle School Ag students learned about hydroponics and experimented with growing lettuce and other plants in the Tower Garden hydroponics system.
FFA wrapped up our FFA week celebrations earlier this week. We ended with a meeting where award prizes were received. Also a big thank you to all who donated canned food items. We collected 307 total items.
