Welcome back for the 2021-22 School Year! BCR4 will hold Open House Thursday 8/19 from 6-7 PM at both RES & DHS. We are asking all non-student/staff visitors to wear a mask while inside the buildings with the kids. No mask mandate at this time for students. Hope to see you then!
FFA officers traveled to Sedalia yesterday to take part in the Drive to Feed Kids at the Missouri State Fair. The officers joined 900 other FFA members from throughout the state to package food that will be distributed to food banks across Missouri.
Jostens will be at the high school on Tuesday, Aug. 24th at 8am to deliver class ring packets to all juniors. Orders will be taken on Sept. 2nd before school. Please call the high school office with questions.

High school and Jr. High football practices for Monday, August 16th, have been moved to 4pm. There will be a high school, football, parent meeting right after practice around 6:30 that Monday.
Jr high softball and football start next Monday, August 16th. Football starts at 7am with the high school. Softball starts at 4pm on the softball field.
High school cross country starts Monday August 9th. 8 am

During the school year, schools across the nation participate in the Pizza Hut Book it! Program. If you complete your reading each month you get a certificate for a personal pan pizza and your name goes in to the nationwide drawing. Well, Anna’s name was drawn for one of the runner up prizes. She got $500 worth of books and a check for $500! She was so excited!!

SAE Spotlight - Olivia Fisher's SAE involves taking care of the chickens that were incubated in the Ag classroom this past spring. She enjoys keeping the chicks healthy and growing throughout the summer. Olivia also works at McAlister's Deli for another SAE.

SAE Spotlight - Brayton Furr has been busy mowing for G&C Lawncare for his SAE. He has mowed the last two summers and has gained a lot of first hand experience which he hopes to use in the future. Brayton also grows and sells sweet corn as another part of his SAE!

FFA is always proud to team up with MFA to help serve their annual customer appreciation lunch. Officers helped with this event to start off their year of service as FFA officers.
SAE Spotlight - Brody Knorr is involved in Wildlife Management for his SAE. He cleared land and planted two food plots this spring and regularly checks his cameras and feeders for deer. Brody will also be serving as our FFA chapter Sentinel this upcoming year.
