The Buchanan County R-IV School District will dismiss classes at 12:30 PM today, February 6th, 2019 due to potentially hazardous road conditions this afternoon.
Tiger Basketball at home tomorrow night against Jefferson. Games will start at 5 with 2 quarters of girls and boys JV. Varsity will start at approximately 6 pm.
JV Girls and Boys Basketball is at Fairfax tomorrow night to play East Atchison. Girls game will start at 6 with boys to follow

Buchanan County R-IV School District will delay the start of classes by 2 hours on Thursday, January 31st, 2019. Buses will run normal routes 2 hours late as well. The MS/HS will run an alternate schedule in order for all classes to meet. light breakfast will be served.
Great time tonight for our 2nd Annual Alumni Night! Both the boys and girls teams came away with victories, and there was a little bit of fun at halftime!
Thursday games at West Platte will start at 4:30. The order of games will by JVG,JVB,VG,VB. ALL games are full games and in the HS gym.

School will be dismissed at 12:33 Monday Jan. 28th due to a partial loss of power at the HS. The power outage is effecting the pumps and heating units for the school. Both Rushville and DeKalb will be dismissed.

The 2nd graders are learning about sound. They experimented with sources and receivers using different conductors to create and produce the highest quality and best results.
The Buchanan County R-IV School District will delay the start of classes until 10 am Friday, Jan 25th 2019. Bus services will run 2 hrs later than usual. A light breakfast will be served.
King City Tournament has been cancelled

King City has cancelled tonight's games due to adverse road conditions from blowing and drifting snow. No word yet on the future of the tournament. We will update as soon as we have more information.
