Career Day at DHS on Friday. Students explored different careers in the mornings & juniors & seniors participated in mock interviews! Awesome job to those students. Great day to be a tiger!
For the second straight year the FFA officers were invited to attend the annual St. Joseph Farm City Breakfast. This event allows our FFA members a chance to listen and interact with agricultural leaders from across our region.
The other two Ag contest teams not pictured in the previous post include the Meats and Forestry Team.
This year we have a record amount of teams competing in FFA/Ag judging contests. Today we traveled to Trenton for our third and final contest before Districts! Here are team pictures of the FFA Knowledge, Farm Management, Entomology and Floriculture Teams.

The 2nd graders planted, documented and recorded the growth, and watched their efforts bloom into a beautiful amaryllis that they named Lilly! Spring is almost here!

The Buchanan County R-IV School District will have a two hour late start Monday, March 4th, 2019 due to cold temperatures and wind chill conditions. Buses will run two hours behind the regular schedule and classes will begin at 10 AM.
