The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department is presenting a docu-drama today to teach our kids about the consequences of under age drinking and driving while intoxicated. There will be an increased amount of law enforcement, paramedics, first responders, etc. in the area while this is going on.

After the last two days of district competition we have 3 more teams who punched their ticket to state! Congratulations to the Floriculture, Farm Management and Meats Team for advancing to state competition in Columbia later this month.

The 2nd grade has been learning about economic concepts. They created a business plan, produced a product, and shared them with consumers. Market Day was a fun learning success for all!

The Bond Issue Forum scheduled for this Sunday has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled out of respect for those affected by the flooding. There will be School Board members available at Rushville Christian Church this Sunday at 5 PM should anyone have any questions.
Preschool has been learning about the weather. We visited the KQ2 News Station today. We went on a tour of the station, saw a drone fly and land, and saw ourselves on the green screen! We may have some future meteorologists in our class! Watch for us on the news tonight!

The last date to purchase a 2018-2019 yearbook is April 30th. Senior ads can be purchased until the 30th as well.
