2nd Grade had a busy day...first was our Thanksgiving Day Parade and then we made butter.
1st and 2nd graders designed floats for their “Thanksgiving Day Parade”.
The DeKalb FBLA Chapter toured and explored career opportunities at Altec and Mosaic Life Care today! Students were able to learn about positions in electronics, paint, welding, and warehousing at Altec. At Mosaic, students toured the OB and Radiology units and listened to speakers from PT, cardiology, IT, nutrition, and accounting and finance. It was a fun, educational day in many ways!
STUCO visited the elementary classrooms with holiday goodies and activities.

These six 5th and 6th grade singers rehearsed all day and sang in a concert at 3 pm. It was the Northwest MO Choral Directors Association 5th and 6th Honor Choir under the direction of Stephen Rew (Ray/Pec Choral Director.) The students were from all over northwest Missouri from Platte City to Chillicothe to the Iowa border.

DeKalb JH Boys win 3rd place game tonight vs Union Star 43-23. Congratulation Boys!!! DeKalb boys got the Sportsmanship Award for the tourney!!!

Thank you to our cooks, NHS members, custodians, and volunteers that helped make our Thanksgiving lunch a success. We served 278 Thanksgiving meals to our students and families!!! We hope everyone enjoyed their meal with us!
