The Area Cooperative for Educational Support (ACES) is seeking a Director of all programs and services for the 2026-2027 School Year. The Director will serve as the instructional leader and is responsible for the daily operation of it's employees. Full description of job duties can be provided upon request. A Master's degree or higher in Educational Administration or Special Education along with a valid Missouri Administrator's certificate are required. Computer students third through sixth grade participated in the FBI Safe Surf online course. After completing the course, students completed the online test. Two third grade students received a perfect score. Seven students received honorable mention.

Rushville Elementary will be holding preschool and kindergarten screenings , Monday, March 2nd from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Please call the school at 816-688-7777 to make an appointment. Children must be three by July 31st to attend preschool and five by July 31st to attend kindergarten. At the screening, information will be given about how the preschool spaces available will be filled. Screenings can be used for developmental information even if you are not interested in preschool. If your child is currently attending our preschool you do not need to call for an appointment. Please call if you have any questions.

Music In Our Schools Month-March

Basketball Thursday February 19th.
Girls at home, 5:30 start two quarters JV girls followed by Varsity girls.
Boys travel to Mound City and play after their girls game which starts at 6pm. Possible start time around 7:30.
