7-12 band starts tomorrow evening from 6-8pm
High School fall sports practices start tomorrow. Football 7am, Softball 8am and XC 8:30.
First practice for XC is 8/7/23 at 8:30 a.m. It will involve the Welcome Back 2 Mile run. Your student athlete will need a water bottle, running shoes, and current physical on file with the AD office.
Jackson Wachtel was selected to participate in the 4/5/6 Grade MO Honors Choir at the annual Choral Directors Association Summer Choral Conference/Convention in Springfield,MO. Jackson rehearsed for over 5 hours with the 100+ member Choir throughout the day on Tuesday, July 18th. Their performance was held in the Juanita Hammons Performing Arts Center on the MO State University Campus. His Rushville Elementary Music Teacher, Darrell Willson, sponsored and accompanied him for the day.
Open House for both Rushville Elementary and DeKalb Middle/High will be held on August 17th from 6-7 pm.
High school and Jr high football camp starts tomorrow. 5-8pm Monday-Thursday. If you haven't gotten your equipment please come early and get it. Coaches will be there 8am-11am and 12:30pm-till camp starts.

Zander Matson and Wyatt Miller competed this past weekend in the 8-man all star game. Both of these young men represented DHS and Tiger Football very well. We are proud of them! Congratulations to Wyatt and Zander!
