Spring sports and academic banquet is on May 11th at 6pm.

Jackson Wachtel took 3rd place in the 275 Conference Spelling Bee!!!


Congratulations to these FFA members for competing and attending the 94th annual State FFA Convention last Thursday and Friday. Bekah Gunter recieved the State FFA Degree. The Meats team and Floriculture team competed and both recieved a II rating. Congrats to all!

The annual FFA spring plant sale will be held this Saturday April 30th from 8am-12 at the school greenhouse by the Ag. Bldg. We have a wide variety of bedding flowers, hanging baskets, succulents, tomotoes and peppers. Come check us out! Thanks for supporting our Ag program!

Congratulations to the following students who stepped out of their comfort zone and interviewed for a chapter FFA office last night. They will serve as leaders in our local chapter next school year.



Today in fifth grade we explored the supplies travelers took with them on the Oregon Trail. Students had a limit of 2400 pounds and had to pack enough for 4 people.




Mrs. Crockett's class learned about how to communicate using light and sound this week. We sent secret codes to our partners by using color codes and a flashlight! Each partner group decided on what their code was and what action they had to send back when they received the message.




First grade students learned about landforms, with a interesting hands on project of building and "exploding" their own volcanoes!





Congratulations to the FFA Meats team who placed 3rd out of 21 teams at the District Contest yesterday! They also qualified for the state competition. Team members included Kalyn Hartman, Jaxon Harris, Rachel Reagan and Harlie Hall.

HS track meet for Friday has been moved to Monday at Stanberry.

Congratulations to the FFA Floriculture team for placing 2nd out of 24 teams at yesterday's district contest! They advanced to the state competition later this month. Team memers include Natalyn Killoren, Rebekah Gunter, Macy Dittemore and Rebecca Reagan.
