The third graders learned about turkeys in science. They learned about the difference of males and females and how they do a little dance when they find their mate. Afterwards they made their own dancing turkeys.

FFA Community Service Field Trip Tour #2 - Students toured and learned about the operations at the 2nd Harvest Community Food Bank. Students bagged over 5000 pounds of sweet potatoes, radishes and onions to be given out to families before Thanksgiving.

Fifth graders have been learning about the War of 1812. We learned that "The Star Spangled Banner" was written during The Battle of Baltimore. The class listened to the extended version and chose to stand facing the flag for the duration of the song.
