FFA Community Service Field Trip Tour #1 - Students toured and learned about the operations at the St. Joseph Animal Shelter. Students made cat/dog toys, made dog treats and had a chance to socialize with some of the animals.
Fifth graders have been learning about the War of 1812. We learned that "The Star Spangled Banner" was written during The Battle of Baltimore. The class listened to the extended version and chose to stand facing the flag for the duration of the song.
Thank you to the staff for preparing and serving about 300 meals for our Thanksgiving lunch! Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the meal with us!!!
