2nd Grade had a fun last day before break. We started our day with going to the movies, then we used our measuring skills to create gingerbread houses and ended the day with a Christmas party!

Always a great day when we get to live out the "Living to Serve" part of the FFA motto. We sorted 9,000 pounds of ham, bagged over 600 pounds of pomelos and made over 250 senior citizen boxes during our annual 2nd Harvest Food Bank Service Day.

All art classes made Christmas ornaments last week. They turned out great!










For the past week, the 8th grade Careers class explored career opportunities in STEM. The students became engineers to design and construct bridges using different types of materials. They then tested the strength of the bridges by seeing how much weight could be held before the bridges fell. Bridges were composed of paper and paper clips, straws and tape, and popsicle sticks and rubber bands. The strongest bridge held close to 15 pounds before falling!
